“In their search for a maintenance-free product, the Cambridge School in Weston, MA, built in the 18th century, applied for permission with the Weston Historical Society to have vinyl siding installed. Soon after, they were told in no uncertain terms that vinyl siding was not an option. The Historical Society then recommended a product called Lifetyme SmartColor and recommended the school consider the product – and they did. The end result, according to John Emich, school plant director, we got a much better look than we could have ever achieved with vinyl.”
Good News, Bad News

“For Stoneham’s Matt and Carol Rexrode, word that Matt was being laid off from his firefighting job was not good. But it got better. When the Rexrodes sought an estimate from Lifetyme Exteriors in Allston to have Lifetyme SmartColor put onto their home, they realized their budget was too tight to do the whole job, considering the impending layoff. Lifetyme decided to go ahead and do the house for free, and the Rexrodes agreed to cover the trim. “We felt it would be a good way to give back and help,” said the company’s Nick Goggans. The job would have cost the Rexrodes about $15,000.” (page 13)
